Since graduating from the Ontario College of Art in 1979, I discovered the Special Event industry. Here I was able to indulge in my imagination coupled with extensive research to envision environments filled with fantastical props. At that time, I never imagined that my love of Special Events would eventually become my profession for these past 25 odd years. I achieved my international accrediation as a Certified Special Event Professional(CSEP) in 1994. There are currently only 300 people worldwide who share this highly coveted designation.
My company The Display Connection Inc was established in 1986. As Toronto's oldest Event design firm, Special Events are delivered with ingenuity and professionalism. Original creative concepts are implemented through our in-house design, prop manufacture and event management services.
This industry has afforded me many opportunities to create a wide range of Award winning solutions for props and custom furnishings for Product Launches, Corporate Celebrations and Trade Show environments.
Most recently, ISESCanada has announced the ISES Canada Penni Holdham Award .
